1. Why did you start acting?  Why did you get into film?
I fell in love with movies the moment my father rented both a VCR and 2 VHS cassettes (Star Wars & Raiders Of The Lost Arc).  Since then, I’ve been infatuated with film (and for a time thought Harrison Ford was in every movie) and did everything I could to learn more about being a part of the process.
I caught the acting bug when our family purchased a Hi-8 Video Camera.  My brother, friends and I would conceive ideas for shorts, but everyone was too scared to get in front of the camera.  I jumped in, fell in love with it, studied in school, cast myself in nearly every film I’ve made and live for the opportunity to act in other people’s productions.
2. What actors do you look to as an example?  Who is your inspiration?
I look up to actors that do more than just act – ones that take an active role in the projects that they will be involved with in the future.  Whether they accomplish this through writing, directing or producing, I respect talent that have some skin in the game – Matt Damon, George Clooney, Brad Pitt (basically the Ocean’s cast – ha), Edward Burns, Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg, etc.
3. What has been your most satisfying time on stage or set?
Witnessing the culmination of our independent feature film: Born & Raised.  Through the years, there were up’s, down’s, naysayers, nearly 30 written drafts and the word “no” thrown at us more times than we care to count.  That said, we saw the film through a treacherous, rain-drenched 19 day shoot, through completion, all the way to distribution and are anxiously gearing up for feature film number two!
P.S. Oh, and EVERY Twitchy Dolphin project that I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of!
4. Why did you decide to be a part of THE LAST BEAUTIFUL GIRL and what are you looking forward to the most?
Without any a$$-kissing, I loved the script.  One of my favorite films is Chasing Amy and LBG had moments that reminded me of that project in the best possible way – while simultaneously being it’s own, wonderful project, with great characters and fun, witty dialogue.  I also LOVE the Twitchy Dolphin family, believe that they have a very special thing going and I’m honored that they continue to call me to be a part of their projects.
5. What are your top 10 movies of ALL time?
1. Good Will Hunting
2. True Romance
3. Fight Club
4. Mud
5. Se7en
6. Die Hard
7. She’s The One
8. Raiders Of The Lost Arc
9. Boogie Nights
10. Chasing Amy
